DPD-serien overvåkingsrelèer har fått nye funksjonaliteter og større fleksibilitet i alarmkonfigurasjon. I tillegg er den nå RINA-godkjent, og dette muliggjør bruk i marine-applikasjoner.

DPDxx 3-fase multifunksjons overvåkingsrele har NFC grensesnitt. Releene overvåker spenning, frekvens, fase tilstedeværelse, riktig faserekkefølge og kvaliteten på 3-fase belastningsstrøm. Leveres med 2 forskjellige fabrikkinnstillinger som kan endres via en App på smarttelefon, nettbrett eller PC.

Lainate, November 2017 Carlo Gavazzi Automation, the international electronics group with activities in the design, manufacture and marketing of electronic equipment, today presents the enhanced software version of the DPD monitoring relays.

The biggest innovation in this version, besides other minor changes, is the implementation of the real time reading of the device status and line measurements via the NFC communication.

While the product is the same, the two Apps have been improved.
Now it is possible to read the alarms status and the voltage and frequency readings during operation, by means of a smartphone or a PC. The priority alarms can be enabled or disabled and the configuration files are now not only saved locally but can also be exported and sent by mail or via cloud.

“When compared to the existing DPD series, the main advantage of this solution is the possibility to immediately troubleshoot in case of failure. Alarms configuration is now more flexible and the required alarms can be selected with just a few clicks,” says Mark J. Wilkinson – International Product Manager. “The purpose of this launch is to maximise the potential of the NFC communication, previously limited to only the device configuration. Carlo Gavazzi’s intention is to further boost DPD sales mainly because, compared to monitoring relays’ competitors, we can provide NFC communication and the possibility of reading the device status in real time.”

Developed by our Competence Centre in Italy, the DPD with enhanced functions has been designed to meet the requirements of the HVAC, Packaging, Bottling, Materials handling and Marine markets.
